Experience colonial family life, see a fully-operational 18th-century kitchen, and learn the importance of community and economics in the past and its relationship to the present.
Exhibits
Pomona Hall is part of the large three-building complex of the Camden County Historical Society, which is located behind Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and adjacent historic Harleigh Cemetery. One of our buildings is the two-story Camden County Museum. There, you can discover Camden's significant role in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. Or you can browse other exhibits to explore RCA's enormous impact on America's early entertainment industry, or actually LISTEN to working models of the earliest hand-cranked, non-electrical record players.
Ship building, firefighters
Other exhibits recreate the story of Camden's crucial role in World War II ship building and celebrate the adventures and gear of the region's earliest firefighters.
Group tours of Pomona Hall and the Camden County Museum can be scheduled on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays throughout the summer. The tour of Pomona Hall mansion and the Museum takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
